When It Comes To Health Care Issues, Why Do Republicans Assume Everyone Is Healthy?
Did you know that about half of bankruptcies are due to health problems? Almost all of those people had health insurance and it didn’t protect them from the medical costs. That is the problem we are trying to solve with Universal Health Care.
Why would anyone assume that the problem is that we are lazy and don’t care to spend a hundred a month for health care? That is the argument that is put forward most often on this forum.

Should I Discuss Health Issues With A New Employer Before Starting The Job?
I have just discovered that I may have some serious health issues. At this point I need to have more tests done before I know what the problem is for sure and what options I have available to me. I am not sure if I should discuss this with my new employer before I have started to work for them. I need some advice on how to handle this.

I have COPD and hearing loss in both ears the hearing loss sometimes makes communication difficult and the COPD rules out most manual labor jobs. What To Do If Your Application For Health Insurance Coverage Is Denied Due To Lower Back Issues?
I was denied new health insurance coverage in May 2007 because of lower back pain in January 2007 for which I received physical therapy. I have had continuous health insurance coverage for more than 2 years with no history of back ailments. If I reapply again now (for coverage starting in September), am I likely to be denied again? Is there anything I can do about it? My group coverage through work is very costly, and I’d prefer to have a more affordable plan.
